Maybe ram and video card? Don't quote me though I really am no expert.

Ok to make that more readable for everyone you have a i5 2500k, Geforce 440 GT, and 4gb ram.

My first question is does your 440gt have DDR3 or GDDR5 ram? That will play a big part in what kind of performance you have with your card the DDR3 440gt is quite a bit slower from what I recall. And most charts and reviews if I recall correctly are on the GDDR5 card. If you don't know which look up the model number or download Piriform Speccy and look at what it has in there as this program will tell you the exact parts that are in your computer.

Next update your drivers, and what video settings are you using? Set them at the lowest posible and see if it's playable.
