Hello,
I am looking to upgrade my videocard to a better performance one. My budget is $150 Here are my system specs:

-Dell Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6300 @1.86GHz x2 1.86GHz
-1022MB RAM
-Current Clock Speed: 1861MHz
-Videocard: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE

Any suggestions? The game im playing says i need a nvidia 8800 videocard or equivalent. Can i get one of those and still be within my beforementioned budget? Any help is much appreciated.

I would also second the 7750. It has a very low power draw, and my guess is that you dont have a Dell XPS, you probably have about a 300-350W PSU. And given that it is a Dell, the power supply is at least partially good.

Should run a 7750 fine. Much better than a 8800. But I hope the game you are trying to play is not like BF3 or GTAIV.

What game are you trying to play?

Having more than 1GB of RAM would be nice. And the 7750 should do the job just fine.

Well, we don't really know what your computer is. Would you mind giving us the model?

You are going to need DDR2 sticks of RAM. Not DDR3. DDR2.

And the 7750 would work nicely with that computer and give you some nice gaming performance from your computer.

Your best bet is to open your pc, note the model number on your ram stick and try and find the exact same stick on ebay. I did this a few years back on my old pc and was able to double my ram for like 10-20$. If you can't find the exact same thing, just be sure the 1gb stick you buy is the same speed as your current one (DDR2-533, DDR2-667, DDR2-800) Good luck! With a 7750 LoL will run flawlessly, don't worry about it. The added memory will help as well. Good luck!
