Hello,

I have recently built my own computer (first time) and when i went to turn it on, it didn't work. I checked that everything was connected and then i checked the main connector. I saw that it is missing 1 pin, the third last from the left (not including extra four pin). Is this normal?
I have an Antec EarthWatts 750.

Any other ideas why it wont start up?

cheers

Yes. That missing pin is normal. The original PC PSU's used that wire for a -5 volt line. The later ATX specs did away with it.

I do not have my regular computer with me. When I get home, I will send you some troubleshooting tips.
