I cannot find a driver to work for this in Windows XP
Home? Does anyone know of one? It worked fine for about
a year and all of a sudden nothing?

You don't need to install a "driver" for your optical drives in XP.

Check your device manager. Does the drive show up there? If not, check your BIOS and see if it's recognized there. If it is, then you have a problem with Windows. If it isn't... then the drive is either dead or a cable has come loose. Turn off the comp, check all connections, then turn it back on to see if it comes up.
