What architecture is Yorkfield based on?

I'm trying to track down what architecture Yorkfield is made from.

It's the same as Wolfdale, 45nm core 2 quad.

But that wasn't what I asked. What architecture is it based on?

Yeah but corbeau is right. Yorktown was the 45nm shrink of the Kentsfield, or the quad core version of Wolfdale, which is a Core architecture. Specifically Core 2 in this case. It is a 64 bit extension of IA-32 microarchitecture, which itself is built on a x86 instruction set.
