We decided to get a better video card for our daughter's PC. We removed the old one to take with us to be sure we purchased the right type. Now we are having problems installing the new one. It will not recognize the new card on her Window's 98 second edition. We think we blew it somehow when we removed the old video card. Was there something we should have done before we removed it? If so what? More importantly what should we do now to correct this? Our daughter misses her computer and is driving us nuts! Thanks in advance for any and all help you can give us.

You DID have the computer off when you removed the old card and put the new one in, right? ;) Just kidding!

When you say "Won't recognize the card in Win98", does that mean the PC starts on and boots to Windows? If so, then all you should have to do is install the drivers.
