Hi, just bought a FSP Bluestorm ii, 500W. I was wondering if it was any good?, apparently it's 80plus certified and SLI certified to. If this is a good power supply, i got it for just £20!. Anyway, moving on to the main question, would this power a gtx280-290?, as i know those are power hungry.

Sorry if i don't reply straight away, i've got school so i'll be replying at around 3.30PM

Cheers!

No it won't, you want 40A on your rail there, and an 8 pin connector.

It has a 6pin and 8pin on it, i just went online, and found out this PSU can actually run that card easily.

Not a 290, but MAYBE a 280. It doesnt have enough power going to the 12V.

If you want to, you can try it.
