PC sudden switch off.

win7 64bit home premium
Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 Motherboard
Phenom FX Socket AM2+ AMD 770
Sapphire 11180-00-40R HD 6850 1GB GDDR5
Kingston HyperX Genesis 4G 1066Mhz
Seasonic S12II-520 520W ATX12V
mb bios GBT - 42302e31 Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
vga driver 8.911.0.0

I can run this build all day playing a graphics intense game such as MTW2 ... no problems.

But every 4/6 months ? the PC suddenly switches off, and won't restart for 15 to 20 minutes.

I thought it might be an overheating problem but as i say,
i can run it all day watch Netflix movies, play games no problem, so ???

Regards all.
Adrian

* Addendum
According to Event viewer the warning and criticl error both involve SQL, if my memory serves me right this crash only occurs when im the Internet, does not explain why my PC won't boot up afterwards for 15 minutes.

It sounds to me like a .NET issue.

Have you updated your .NET recently?

Thanx
Windows update shows only 1 optional update available for Bing, i'm presuming if .Net needed updating it would show in the Win update site.
.Net 4 client is currently installed, can't see any other .Net programs in
Programs and Features.
Regards
Adrian.
