Can't Activate Office 2010 OEM Twice

I have one copy of Office 2010 Pro OEM from Dell.
I activated it on Windows 7, the host OS.
I also installed Windows XP Mode/Virtual PC on the same laptop.
I need Excel 2010 in Virtual PC. but when it came time to activate, Excel was denied activation. MS saw the Office 2010 activation instance under the host OS.

Technically it's the same PC, but I only get to choose one OS to activate it on.

This is disappointing.

Other than getting another product key, can I activate one copy of Office 2010 on both Win 7 and Windows XP Mode?

You cannot..it sees XP mode as ANOTHER operating system....

+1. Windows XP Mode is a separate Windows install, and thus requires it's own license for Office. You will have to buy another key. You should be able to buy just the key for a bit cheaper than the full product as well, as you wouldn't need the install media.
