Need Some advice for my build

I'm planning build a rig to replace my old

cpu: Phenom II x4 B55 AM3 @ 3.2 Ghz (unlocked)
cooler: deepcool iceberg pro
Mobo: Am3 Asus M4A88T - M
GPU: sapphire HD7770
Memory: 4gig G skil ripjaws 1333 2x2gb CL9
HD: WD 500GB caviar blue
psu:HEC raptor 500w true rated
atx: aerocool PGS VS4
odd: liteon

At first I was planning to upgrade to an i3-3220 but they told me its not much of an upgrade and will just waste money, so I'm now looking forward to buy this build:

but I don't have any GPU yet in mind my budget for GPU is around $220

This I3 is a upgrade, and would be fine option.

Most choices are OK. Personally, would prefer Samsung 830, or Crucial M4, or OCZ Vertex 4, for SSD. At you budget, your best option for GPU, is probably GTX 660, possibly MSI TwinFrozr. For an extra $20, or so, you could go with a HD7870. That has a slightly better overall performance, than the 660, although the 660 is actually better, in some games, like BF3, or Borderlands.
