Hi,
I have just purchased a Jabra Bluetooth 250 headset for use with my 6600. I
have noticed an odd thing however. When I turn on the headset (by pressing
the call button for 3-5 seconds) the headset turns on but then immediately
goes into a voice dialling mode. Not a particular problem as I can keep
quiet for 3 seconds whilst the phone tries to hear the cue. This may be
related to the other problem that is...
My 6600 also doesn't seem to enter bluetooth 'sniff' mode - i.e. the
bluetooth dot always has its active symbol around it - (.) This has a
detrimental effect on the phone's battery life.
Any suggestions as to possible solutions to these annoyances would be
gratefully received.
Firmware version: V 3.42.1 16-10-03 NHL-10
Thanks,
RAH

This is a bug in the Jabra headset, use a Plantronics and you will
have no such problem.

This is a known problem with Jabra and Nokia 6600. I sent my headset back
because it was killing the battery. Jabra said it was a nokia problem and
Nokia did not want to know because it was not a nokia headset.
In the end I got a statment from Jabra admitting to the problem so I could
get a refund.
