Ram clearance Noctua NH-D14

Kinda confused about this, so I was seeking some last minute advice just to be sure. I am unsure as to if I have enough space for this ram or not. I read about the heights and clearance I have, and it sounds like I SHOULD have space, but still want a second opinion or two.

  1. That RAM won't work with a D14, you'll need something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148544

Should be fine, worse comes to worse you have to adjust one of the fans SLIGHTLY. Although you could always get low profile vengeance for the same price as what youve selected, those WILL definately work as that is what i rock in my PC ;D

Yeah I had to do that with the Mushkin Blackline - my fan doesn't look right but it's really not that big of a deal.
  3. Yeah I was just gonna opt for that ram originally jrgong, so I will just go for that instead, meh lol. Thanks for the info and such.

  5. The biggest ram you can get is G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428#top
  6. how do you check for clearance? I mean, you would need to know the distances of each part on the motherboard and compare it to the component's dimensions. Just a noob question.
