Asus Xonar DS detected, driver updated, but options not shown in sound

Reseated, detected by device manager, downloaded new driver even though indicated up to date. When I enter Windows-> sound however in the Windows 7 OS, I see all my other sound options, but not the Asus. Any ideas how to get the sound card to display its options there? Or is this like NVIDIA where it is necessary to go through ASUS software?

The sound card should be listed, but generally, you go through the ASUS Audio Center.

Make sure the option to see disabled audio devices is enabled; might be hidden for some reason.

^^ Don't have to. Currently have my Xense + Onboard working fine. [Onboard to TV, Xense connected to Headphones + Speakers]
