Nortel VPN Client Windows 7 error unable to reach server

yes, i have seen this for a year now, but did not find a solution, yet. Did you find one?

I found several formus discussing this problem. None of the proposed solutions did solve it for. maybe they help you

just 5 minutes later and VERY happy. The solution to disable the Internet Connection Servcie did work for me. I just was to stupid to find the correct service in my windows language version :-)

Hi all,
I was searching some weeks and read some informations and tipps on platforms like tom's hardware. Alss tipps are concentrated on the firewall but stopping the McAffee firewall for a short period makes no different. The failure appears constant with the message "unable to reach server".
I had the idea to uninstall the SideAdvisor and did it successfull.    

Maybe this tipp helps anybody.

I found the Internet connection sharing was on turn it off issue will get resolved.
You can check it if you have 2 LAN devices on your system.
