Is this a good gaming rig?

Hi all,
I have been looking at building my first gaming rig around Christmas time and would like your opinions on my pc so far.
My specs:
i5 3570k
ASRock extreme4 z77
8GB Corsair Vengeance
Antec Three Hundred Two
Disk Drive
Western digital caviar blue
Windows 7
Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 OC edition Dual X
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

How well will this run Crysis (1), Battlefield 3 and other GPU intensive games. I will be playing on 1 (maybe 2 in the future) 1920x1080 monitors.

Looks good to me! A 7950 will handle anything you can throw at it, make sure to use Catalyst 12.7 or later.

get some gskill ram, corsair ram might not fit with a aftermartet cooler hope it goes smooth, and haswell processors come out next year, next gen componets.

Haswell will be using a completely different socket and chip set than Ivy Bridge, and if you wait that's always never a good idea to do because you'll never be satisfied with what you have.

And yes definitely get low profile Vengeance.
