I'm trying to set up my computer to run FFXIV. I don't have the biggest budget in the world, but I came across these two game cards and I don't know which to choose. Can you plese let me know which card is better. The price for either isn't bothering me so please don't take the pricetag into consideration.

I really want to stay under the $100 price range if at all possible.

I'm buying an IN WIN GreenMe 650W PS off my buddy for only $50, and it's brand new but here's the stats on it:

So as you can see I have plenty of room to work with when it comes from a power standpoint. I'm going to make the Powersupply and Video card changes in tandem and they will be the first things I replace on my computer. Here is my computers current stats but hopefully over the next couple months will be replaced as well:

HP Pavilion p6310y PC
CPU: AMD Anthlon II X4 630 Quad-Core Processor
RAM: 6GB DDR3 system memory
1T HDD
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

The video card I get will be replacing the Nvidia GeForce 9100 Integrated (yuck) that is on the HP Mobo

The Power Supply that is stock on this computer is only 300W, so that's why i'm replacing it with the 650W one I linked above.

You don't really need to replace the power supply, unless it's a cheap model. Plus the extra 50 you will save will go to a better card.

If you have around $100 to spend, with your system specs, get a Radeon 7750, it is much faster than the two you were looking at. And should run with no issues on your existing PSU.

The ones you want are ranked about 120-130 on the overall card list here http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_list.php

The 7750 is currently 59. Your CPU and 6gig of RAM are good enough to hang with a faster card and you will be a lot happier with it I think.

Regret is hard to overcome :) . I once spent $250 on a set of computer speakers instead of $100 because I knew if I went for the cheaper set I'd always be not quite happy with them. The amazing thing is that my wife agreed with me LOL

Wow, thank you guys, I LOVE this forum. Hopefully in the future when I get good at this, I can return the favor by helping others as you helped me.

One final question about the Radeon 7750, which is the card I officiall added to my "wish list" now. It says in the Requirements that a 400W Power supply is needed, will it still be ok with my 300W one? I know you said it would but I just wanted to reiderate the size of the stock one I have now.
