Probably, but any stock cooler runs loud even without overclocking so I'd recommend looking for a better cooler.

Canadian link but good for research (any of them are better even the $6 Zalman CNPS5x; you also need to use a PWM fan or Voltage fan depending on what your motherboard supports):

I DON'T KNOW, COULD YOU STOP SHOUTING PLEASE?!?!

OT: What the guy above me said. If you really want to overclock hard, you'll need a really good air cooler or liquid cooling.

maybe if good case airflow from the stock 3.6 to 4.0ghz, not the best board to overclock but u can attempt it. recommended get a aftermarket cooler for cheap as almost any decent brand cooler will beat the stock cooler

Yeah but you may as well put a vaccuum cleaner next to your head while you use your pc for the same effect.

I really wouldn't recommend OC'ing on that board, well thats not really fair but I would certainly advise against touching the voltage.

I would recommend getting a good aftermarket heat/sink fan because as said above the stock fan is very loud on its own. The FX CPU's are not alone in this ether it is just the way it is anymore. As far as I see it a aftermarket heatsink/fan is needed for most higher end CPU's. My AMD FX-8120 and AMD FX-8350 rigs are both water cooled and overclock very good that way but a quality heatsink/fan should work to.
