I had my 8800 GTX croke today and this is what i run and what i'd like to know whats the best Video Card upgrade for me NOT changing anything else............... Right now i am running my old 8800GTS..............Any help would be great.....

You've got a decent build still. I would LOVE to recommend you something, but you didnt list a budget.

Check with EVGA. They used to offer lifetime warranty on such cards.
A similarly performing card would be the GTS250 or GTS450.

But, if your budget permits, why not upgrade to something considerably stronger like a GTX560?

My motherboard is a Asus M4A79 Deluxe as well..........I don't have a large wallet however that Evga 8800GTX worked perfectly for a number of years. I just want to upgrade a step or two.......I am not redoing a complete system overhaul........

Elder Skrolls V Skyrim was 1920 X 1080 I crank up the games high as i can...............Budget about $200.00 smackers.........

As robjordy already put a more expensive card up, I'll put up a cheaper one. I like to put up a card that might push the budget a tad and one card that is below budget some and let the OP choose.

I do agree with giving more options, but thats not really much cheaper actually, only a price difference of $15. ( after rebates and shipping costs )

I would be happy to pay $15 more for a 560ti over a 6870.
