im not very good with softwares, when i read reviews on cnet about that driver sweeper, some people seemed to have messed up the whole process, so you think i can do it? is it clear enough for a software dummy like me?

I used to use Driver Sweeper but don't any longer. It appears if you use nVidia's install tool, and choose custom install, you can control what you want to have installed. You also need to check the box that tells it to do a clean install.
