Black screen after graphics drivers are installed.

Hello. I recently got a new video card, a GTX 460, and everything was running fine until I went to install the drivers. After doing the required reboot, the screen was entirely black upon boot. I could hear the windows login audio and such, audio worked fine, but not the video. Could this just be a bad card?
