Minecraft server help

i am about to build a new pc the specs are

cpu : intel intel i5 3570k or
amd fx 8350
cpu cooler: cooler master hyper 212 evo

mobo: ASUS P8Z77-lx or for the amd Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3

ram: Corsair Vengeance 8gb (2x4gb)

graphic card: sapphire Radeon hd 7870 2gb/xfx 7950 both 3gb

psu: corsair cx600 600w

Optical Drive: Liteon iHAS124-19 24x Dual Layer SATA DVD Writer DVDRW


new case: zalman z11 std plus

hard drive: western digital caviar black 1tb 7200rpm 64mb chace

ssd: samsung 840/pro I have to wait a week extra 120gb

extra fans: 3x Cooler Master Turbine Master Mach 0.8 120mm

mouse: wireless rechargeable logitech g700

headset: TURTLE BEACH EARFORCE KILO BLACK OPS II

keyboard: logitech g105

os: windows 7 64 bit pro

will the server run better the more ram i have and what would be better amd or intel
the server will be a 20-30 man server and will i be able to run and play the server at the same time

More RAM is better for server, and allocate about 4gb for 20-30 man server for tekkit, 3gb for 20-30 man for bukkit. Get 16gb of RAM for servers if you are going to play on the server at the same time.

dude haha that intel xeon is better than your i5-3570k... trust me

but for your question, i5-3570k is far better by thousands of miles...
