Good Psu!

i have a cheap 700w psu... bcoz im going to buy HD7870 id like to buy one good PSU just to be safe..... id like your opinion on xfx 650w pro650w core edition and Corsair Power Suply 700W gs 2013 edition... ( i heard gs700w had probs with fan on previous editions...i hope 2013 is ok)

If this is the PSU you are referring to, it is a good unit. I have had the older XFX Black Edition 850W in my system for many years with no issues. I have been running different variations of SLI and CF with no issues.

Hi - of those two, I'd go with the XFX, also you can save $$ if you
want, as a quality 500w psu is more than enough for a sys with
a 7870.

in 2-3 years ill need to upgrade my system again...so i believe its better to buy a big and good psu from now...

The latest upgrades in both cpu's and gpu's have used less power than their predacessors, not more power. It may be safe to assume that future releases will use even less power. Besides, a psu is not a big deal to replace if need be. You can throw the old one on ebay and earn some of your cash back later...

i think guru gives a good rate on this psu... ill w8 2 more days for more reviews..i want to be sure that ill make a good choice..
