Tomshardware says about the 660TI that it is a very good card.

But if i read the comments from Overclock3D they say or The GTX660Ti is either £50 too much, or 15FPS too weak in performance.
They also say about the 7950 Given how powerful that card is, and how much overclocking headroom is available from AMDs behemoth, it's not even close.

So who shall i believe, they are saying in many words choose between the Nvidia 670 or the AMD 7950.

Can some of you help me, i play mainly WOW and from saturday GW2 and i also wanna play games like The witcher 2 and more from those developers.

It WAS an awesome card for the money. But with 7870's at $230 already, not so much.

I myself never tested it, but i do have a Kepler gpu (680) and i was really impressed with the performance, if the bechmarks i've been seeing are true, the 660 ti is an awesome card for the money.

You cherry picked one benchmark at 2560x1600. Comical.

Ricardois, I suggest you read this:

You can judge for yourself it you think the 660ti is worth $70 more than the 7870.

Some games favor Nvidia, some AMD, unfortunately I don't see any benchmarks for the games you listed.

In UK, 660 Ti is either the same price as the 7950 or more expensive. I am not sure why this occurs but in the US the 7950 is always more than the 660 Ti. Now, if you read the reviews there, you sure are going to see that the 7950 is faster than the 660 Ti, and pretty much all reviews thinks that it is. So, if your choice are between the 7950 and the 660 Ti, I would say the 7950 is a straight choice. Here is what I would like you to buy:

Cheap eh?

If you're asking whether to get a 7950 or a 670, then I would still say the 7950. Why? Because the 670 is like >£60 more and performs like 10% faster than a 7950...

Oh yes regarding that picture that ricardois posted, (Sorry) I don't think you should judge the card's performance on that. Sunius posted a nice chart comparing cards and I think you should judge on that.

Tom's Hardware don't say the 660 Ti is a good card, it is OK but doesn't have the 'wow' reaction such as the 670.

It's up to you if it's worth $70 more than the 7870. Most of the titles I've seen the 7870 isn't much slower. It's actually faster than 660ti and 670 in Skyrim, so it may be the same in some other MMO's like Wow.

Posted elsewhere but procured some 660ti's for friends after the much anticipated took it out the box (manufacturor name will not be mentioned) shock it went clackity clack and said get me a HD 7870.

We played around with a 7870 GE and 660ti, can't see where they got this card being so overwhelming, yes in tessellation the GTX is fast but in everything else the Radeon power whollop's it. The 660ti is a high end card watered down to pose as a mainstream card but is riddiculously priced, at best 5% faster than a 7870 in gaming rendering aided by far superior clock speed and faster memory like all Keplers.
