Help building gaming pc with micro gigabyte motherboard

i want to build a gaming PC for me and my little brother. my uncle gave me his gigabyte ga-880gm-d2h ( Rev 3.1)
motherboard. I have a Amd phenom II quad core CPU for it. do anyone know if a Hec Orion xpower585w power supply, corsair vengeance 8gb (2x 4gb) ddr3 will work with my motherboard. and also is my motherboard is good enough to play games like assassin creed III.
