More about which
1. For 35$ I think you can get a Live! Value card, or maybe even the next step up now that Audigy is out.. I don't really know if any other manufacturers have anything comparable in that price range.

Me "I bought a TNT2 M64, the BIOS says its a Vanta"
IOMagic "Theyre the same card"
Me "Um, no"
2. I always recommend against Creative sound cards, because they have very poor drivers. Their speakers are nice (for the price), on the other hand.
My recommendation? Try a Hercules Muse XL from Newegg for $17 (OEM). It doesn't say it's a Muse XL (it used to, I don't know why they changed it), but it is, and for $17, it's a great card. A3D, EAX, 4 channel surround.

3. IF you want a sound blaster, there's a wesite that has a sound blaster live 5.1 dolbly digital for about $30, without shipping.
