CPU: Intel i5-2500k cooler master Hyper 212 EVO CPU heatsink
MOBO: Asrock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA 1155
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X series 16GB (2x8)
HD: Seagate Baracuda 1TB @ 7200rpm
GPU: evga nVidia GTX 680 2GB
PSU: NZXT Hale82n 750w
yea.. i put alot of thought into it, now lets hear it from the smart people.
also im using a mid tower ATX case just adding

The GTX680 doesn't offer enough improvement over the GTX670 to justify its price.
According to Frostytech, the Xigmatek Gaia cools within a fraction of a degree of the Crappermaster Hyper EVO but is 6db quieter and only costs $20 right now at Newegg.

Edit: the money saved will let you get that SSD boot drive.

I guess you've decided for your needs the extra $$ for an i7 isn't worth it already. Especially since you're not using the integrated video the difference between Sandy Bridge (2xxx) and Ivy Bridge (3xxx) on socket 1155 isn't huge. Using an SSD to boot and hold your programs/games has advantages but will incur an extra cost.

the 680 is more power efficient, and it runs cooler (about 7 degrees C hotter)
i know this because of benchmarking, also i just want brgging rights :p
i know its sillly but, whatever

It looks okay, that power supply didn't get a very good review at JonnyGuru.com and 750w might be overkill. I'm not sure about the pricing of it in Canada but you could probably get a higher quality PSU without spending more, probably even less.
