Are you looking at an aftermarket cooler? Or reference? If it's reference they are the same card. The only difference will be the warranty and RMA service. From what I've seen online (and not personal experience) Asus' warranty support has gone down hill over the past couple years.

Both are solid brands though. If there is a price difference get the cheaper of the two.

As good as Asus mobos are, in my limited personal experience with their graphics cards, I've had 2/4 Asus boards fail within days or weeks of installation. I prefer XFX or HIS, but the few Sapphire cards I've bought have had no issues either.

xfx is not availabe in my town.. i love this brand. i have two xfx 5850's and i never find any issue within last two years.
but now xfx stoped working here accourding to its warranty.
and yes HIS is available here. but i have heared many bad things about this card. i.e. crashes, low life time.
