Windows 8 is kind of like windows XP, its a kind of business PC but since most of the companies already have windows XP or upgraded into a mac windows 8 is almost worthless. just stick with win7 i say.

for PC build i would do this

this is from amazon only but if you really want some deals i would say to buy maybe a few from newegg.

^ You arent OCing, so no. And Windows 8 is a mobile operating system being ported to desktops, do you think thats right? Its recieved a bunch of negative criticisms so far, so I wouldnt go that route.

+1 to boulbox. Good build.

like i have said, if you can buy from other sites than amazon than you can get a lower price for the build.

some stuff from amazon have pretty good deals but you won't get everything at a good deal from amazon. i suggest trying newegg out as you can get some combo deals and such.(only good thing about amazon is pretty much the free shipping on almost everything and sometimes free tax)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1081367
asrock extreme3+i5 3570k(almost no difference between extreme3 and 4, 3 is also not available on amazon)
http://www.amazon.com/OCZ-Technology-2-5-Inch-Industrys-Warranty/dp/B007R1FH3K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1350576357&sr=8-1&keywords=vertex+4

http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Hyper-120mm-RR-212E-20PK-R2/dp/B005O65JXI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1350576402&sr=1-1&keywords=hyper+212+evo
hyper 212 evo
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148840&name=Internal-Hard-Drives
seagate barracude 1tb(can be switched to caviar blue if you want)

this is just to get the point around. the combo it self will save you about $25 if you just bought everything from amazon
