Hello,
I am building a my first system, and can't decide between the
Msi GTX 660 ti
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127696
or
the Radeon HD 7950
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&N=100006662&isNodeId=1&Description=7950&x=0&y=0

This rig will mostly be used for HD video rendering/editing, and gaming. Both the cards are around the same price point, and I want to know which one is better for the money.

Specs;

CPU- Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4GHz LGA

Motherboard- Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H LGA 1155 Z77 ATX Intel Motherboard

GPU- GTX 660 ti or Radeon HD 9750

RAM- Corsair Vengeance 8GB RAM

HDD- 1TB SeaGate Barracuda HDD

SSD- 64 GB Samsung SSD

Drive; Lite-On LightScribe 24X SATA DVD+/-RW Dual Layer Drive IHAS424-98

PSU- CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650

Case- Cooler Master HAF 922 OR NZXT Phantom 410 white

I'd recommend the 7950 over the 660ti, it is slightly faster and provides much better openCL performance so if you want good quality in video editing you'd want.

Your PSU will handle either card no problem, its Corsair brand so it's good quality.
