Wondering if this is dead?

Hey, I recently complied a pretty basic home setup with a 2009 Gateway monitor I had laying around.
I have had everything working for a few months now with no problems, but today my monitor started making a screeching sound well it displays, and shutting down around 10 seconds after turning on/screeching. I have tried on the 3 major connectors, with two different graphics cards, and it seems to be doing the same with both. Tried with a Amd 4650 series, and a 7770.

Anyone have any idea what this might be? Is it dead?

try resetting it in the monitor's built in menu . if no change, it's probably going to the graveyard
