(First time poster here, hopefully this is in the right place.)

The title pretty much sums it up. I am looking to buy a few new case fans for my pc, which has been getting a bit warm. I am planning on buying 2 or 3 red LED 120mm fans. I have a couple in mind, but I am not really sure what one is better. I am also open to other suggestions.

These are the ones I am looking at right now:

the rosewill is the better of the two as far as air flow is concerned, plus the LEDs will shine better as the fan is clear. bear in mind that it is a full 10.28 db (50%) louder than the CM. temps or noise is your choice. both good fans in their own right

I recommend the options from Prolimatech or Akasa. I have a pair of 120mm Red Akasas on my window, bright LEDs and not too loud.

the asaka fans offer a maximum of 38.4 CFM, pitiful by comparison of both that the OP has suggested.

Asaka - 38.4 CFM, 17 dB(A)
CM - 69.69 CFM, 19 dB(A)

easy choice.

Mine must be a discontinued model, the binbag and cardboard test gave me 64.8CFM at 16.4 db.

Is 10 db a major difference? Unless it is, i will probably go with the Rosewill.

well as i said, it is 50% louder for 5CFM more. at those speeds, 5CFM is kind of negligible, i'd take the quieter one personally

oh, okay. I guess my only other concern is with the brightness. There aren't many good videos online, but from what i have seen, the Coolermaster doesn't light up the case very well. The LEDs seem kind of dim. Brightness is very important to me, so would the Rosewill be the better option?

the rosewill would be brighter yes, so if that's what you want, go for it!

The Rosewill just went on sale for $4.99 with free shipping, so I'm going to buy that. Thanks for the help!
