Performance loss from using pci-ex 2.0 instead of having pcie 3.0

hi i was wondering if there will be much of a performance hit only having a pcie 2.0 x16 slot as opposed to not have a pcie 3.0 thinking about buying either a radeon 7770 or a radeon 7850

Nothing noticeable. They will both work properly and be just as fast in either PCIE 2 - 3.

There will be a very slight performance loss, but as ish416 said: nothing noticeable!
