Question about motherboard standoffs

So I recently received my Corsair Carbide 500R case, its all nice although I have one problem.

I am a first time builder and I'm learning how to build from YouTube videos.

The majority of the videos show 9 standoffs for ATX cases.

Although my case has 6 ordinary standoffs at the bottom, and the top 3 stand offs have a strange raised piece of metal, instead of standoffs.

Are these meant to replace stand offs? In case we lose the standoffs or something?

They are standoffs molded into the tray. They are quiet convenient, but they don't do them all like that so they can support different size boards.

Thank you but the guide I'm using on YouTube is much more clear, detailed and convenient.
