Windows installation doesnt allow keyboard enter

Hello,
I have just done my first build.I entered the BIOS with no problem and the keyboard functioned.
On installing the Windows 7 disk,the first page appeared with language,country etc but the keyboard had lost its functionality and I couldn't respond to any of the selections.
I have tried an old PS/2 keyboard and the same problem exists.

I think that we would need some more information about your system. Please post a list of all of the components for your system including models. Can you still go into the BIOS when you reboot? Do the lights on the keyboard continue to work during the Win Install? Also you should look at these guides to help with identifying any possible issues with your build.

Take a look at this thread and see if it helps. May need to go into BIOS and force compatibility with legacy usb. I don't know why the ps2 will not work. Try it in safe mode also. Maybe a different usb port.
