Budget VFX pc build

i plan to build a desktop pc for vfx wrk, plz advise

Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3 Motherboard
ASUS GTX 560 DirectCU Graphics Card
Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU Coole
ASUS GTX 560 DirectCU Graphics Card
OCZ Vertex 4 128GB SATA III 2.5 inch SSD
NZXT Phantom 410 Crafted Series Cabinet

please let me know wot u think about the configuration
and i,m kinda unsure about the power supply, is 850w sufficient?

Older underpowered graphics card
extremely limited storage space
the CPU cooler is a little out of place with this cpu and motherbpard
850 watt PSU is excessive. 600 watts should be plenty after adding a proper mid-high end card

i agree, i wasnt quite able to find the right budget graphic card for this system

can you tell me more abt the problem with the CPU cooler

i,ll be addin another 2TB internal hard drive , ssd is jst for os and essential software

power supply coolermaster or crosair.

Well, you want Nvidia and although a pro card would be much faster and more reliable, you could get away with a gaming version. Stick with the 5 series though as many apps are not optimized for Kepler yet. If you can, pick up a 570 with a 560ti being the lowest I would go. More memory on the graphics card, the better.

jst wanna add couple of quick questions,,

under what circumstances if any at all, should i get a more powerful PSU,,

i,ll be using this pc to run vfx sims,, will tht be a reason to go for a psu >600W

also i,ll be gettin a surge protector,, will i need to get a UPS too? any recommendations?
