Hi All,

I'm planning to upgrade my HD 5750 with a GTX 660 ti. :bounce:
But just before the purchase, i saw that GTX 660 ti is a PCIe 3.0 card  . My mobo is having PCIe 2.0 slot. So will the GTX 660 ti run in my system??? :(

Solution
Yes. The PCI-E thingy is all backwards compatible. I'm also positive that the card will run normally without any restriction regarding bandwidth when you have a PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot (make sure it runs at x16).

I have the same idea to upgrade my GPU to GTX 660 TI :D

AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8Ghz
12GB (2x4GB and 2x2GB) Kingston HyperX DDR3 RAM (1600 MHz)
asrock extreme 3 890gx
Corsair 800W PSU

But I'm not worried that it will burn my CPU, and if I think the CPU is too slow after 660 TI, then I just have to overclock it a LITTLE bit
