Will the Palit GT440 1GB DDR3 be bottlenecked by Pentium D925

Pretty much what the title says. I've been told that the maximum for a Pentium D is a GT240, so will the GT 440 work fine with it?

  1. Somewhat but then again you could get away with a faster card on that cpu but not by much. At 9800gt level performing card like a 6670 will do just fine. If that GT440 is GDDR5 it will be faster than most by about 10% give or take a little.
  2. i would say taht if its ddr3 then its performs optimal that what he can do or if it ddr5then pentium d will bottleneck it
  3. Don't listen to monue_08, he or she couldn't even make a proper sentence. One of my old friends had the same cpu with a 9600gt and it ran fine. The GT430 performs about the same as a 9600gt and same for the GT440. For most the difference is only clocks while there are a rare few that are GDDR5. Those are faster but not by a lot. If you could widen your options you can get a much better card for the same price.
