Hi, I'm about to upgrade soon and was planning on getting the 7750HD i also saw that the 450gts was a similar price and similar performance, what do you think and if you have other recommendations please post it. I want to be able to play most games at 1920x1080. My budget is pretty strict too but i can manage to get some more if i need to. Also i'll grab a new PSU for that graphics card so any good brands too?

Actually, HD 7750 is around 13% faster at you resolution.

For PSUs I'd suggest sticking with quality brands:

Antec, Seasonic, FSP, XFX, Corsair.

And what is your budget in your currency (not sure where you are from? The prices differ around the world).

Oh and i also noticed the HD 7770 is close to the price of HD 7750, but is it worth getting? And also what should i pick msi, xfx, etc ?

Without knowing what the rest of your system is, no way to know what video card will work. A 7770 is faster but if you have a slow computer it won't do you any good.

And a 7750 will work with just about any power supply in the 300 watt range so you may not even need to get a new PSU.

CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 435
RAM: Kingston ddr2 2gb
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-MA770-US3
And my psu is an old 120w one don't even know what brand it is, i used to run a 8500gt but it's broken..

The whole pc is outdated i know.. :D

Yes you need a new power supply, if a 7770 is within your budged for a card and a power supply, it's a good pick.
Should also get 2 more gig of RAM.

The CPU is not horrible but will not run a lot of new games at high settings with decent frame rates.

Playing at 1980 you can do but at lower settings. That's a pretty high resolution for a low end card and a low end CPU.

Ok thanks for the answers, and i am definitely getting some more ram just a bit later, now focusing on a graphics card.

My suggestion for upgrade combo:

Graphics card - EVGA GTX 560 SuperClocked - $159.99 before rebates - around 25% faster than HD 7770 and around 60% faster than HD 7750.
PSU - Antec NEO ECO 520W - $59.99

Total: $219.98

I know the graphics card may be held back on some games, but I am sure you won't be disappointed with it and when you upgrade the CPU in the future, it will stay decent for much longer ;).

Are you sure your PSU is 120W? This is way too low and I am thinking that you have a mini tower? Because mid tower (in my experience) has at least 250W of power supply. Just my thoughts... I think you'd better go with the 7770 and the PSU I suggest you, It should be able to crossfire the GPU :).

+ That PSU I suggested

Total $199.98 (124.99+74.99)

The CPU will be somewhat fine for now, but in some games, it will have some bottleneck (if you are running high resolution then you should be fine). You should be looking to upgrade your CPU to something like a Phenom II x4 965.
