Can someone tell me if my build is good.
I mainly need you to check if the motherboard is compatible with the case, because idk if the usb header and ports are compatible.

It's actually a pretty good build except the RAM. Get this for the same price. With a single stick you lose the advantage of dual channel mode ( even though it's small ).

Vengance is better RAM than XMS as well.

Your case will work fine; it just doesn't have front panel USB3.0. Still has 2.0.

^ Don't use Ares RAM with Sandy/Ivy Bridge due to the high VCCIO/VCCSA voltage of 1.25v

Given the one person on there seems to have a personal crusade against Ares and other people are saying pretty much no... that's not right.

I wouldn't trust anyone who quotes Google Docs and says it comes straight from G.Skill.

Actually that thread is one person with a deep understanding of RAM and how it an IMC works vs a few people with layman knowledge. I learn something from one person in that thread every week. I'll leave it up to you to figure out whom that is

And 5 seconds on google confirms his summation. Ignore it if you want. Personally I choose to learn from those more knowledgeable than me. That's kind of the point of this website.
