Complete new build for development and gaming, less than 2000$

Hi,

I need a long-term working build with good gaming abilities for a budget of 2000$ max. Should be able to run virtual machines (hence the 16GB RAM) as well as two separate OS Win7 + linux (hence the two ssd) and use two monitors (I already have one). I will probably end up overclocking the CPU later but it's not a must have.

I would really appreciate a quick review of my choices to make sure I haven't made any obvious mistakes in terms of compatibility, if I forgot anything or if there are better choices than mine. I basically need everything except a mouse...

Again thanks for your advice and for any input on this configuration.

no need for thermal paste. the stock stuff from noctua coolers are way better. also, no need for the d14 as the U12p Se2 provides nearly the same performance but right now its on for 39.99 which is killer for how good it is

the ftw is overrated. better 670s out there

you are better off with a radeon card as there is very little support for linux from nvidia

better monitors out there

more ram may be necessary so i got you 32gb

this is better

and if you are not going to do crossfire with this system, id suggest shrinking the power supply to this

Thanks a lot TheBigTroll, for the Graphic Card I think that nvidia proprietary drivers are usually better than radeon ?!
