  1. I would give it an 8/10.
What I would change is the motherboard to this
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130645&name=Intel-Motherboards
I would only get 8gb ram
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231308&name=Desktop-Memory
Then I would get this gpu instead
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814129205&name=Desktop-Graphics-Cards
    The last thing is case
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147107&name=Computer-Cases
unless you don't want usb3.0 on your case. If so you could go a lot cheaper on the case.

I like the ASUS brand for motherboards personally, gonna stay with the one I have. The ram i have selected has the best numbers as far as RAM goes according to PC Benchmarks. Again with the video card, im a nVidia supporter, and the 660 posts some nice numbers for the benchmarks as well.

Thanks for the info, that looks like a sick case!

  4. I would rate the build a 8 out of ten i would of gave it a 10 if you had a 670 lol also your better off getting this ram if you insist on 16 gb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233280&name=Desktop-Memory
  5. The asus board literally isn't better than the msi one. Also, there is no reason to get 16gb ram. It doesn't make a difference, most games don't even use 2. Also the 7950 is a lot better.
  6. No proof about the motherboard and he mentioned he rather stick with it that board is top notch no reason to change it anyways i agree no reason to go with 16gb for gaming 8gb is more than enough
  7. I'm sorry, where exactly is this PC benchmark that says 16gb of RAM is faster than 8gb? (Under the same amount of load of course)

You'll also find in the long run that 64gb SSD isn't enough.
My suggestion would be a 1TB HDD + 128gb SSD.

Those benchmarks mean nothing. OF course transfer rate is higher. That will make difference is gaming though. Just because a car can go 200mph doesn't mean its going to go faster in city compared to a prius. Also the reason I have been suggesting that motherboard over and over is because it is the same motherboard for almost $100 less. Asus makes super overpriced components.

    - That's 4gb
    - PassMark isn't the most reliable place to go to for reference, it's mostly just random people submitting their results, with differing systems.
  12. IMHO,
You can switch that ASUS mobo to a ASUS Maximus V Gene LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard unless you have a reason not go with a micro-atx mobo?

It tops most benchmarks, performance wise & is at the same price point of the ASUS P8Z77 Pro Mobo
