ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I'll be sticking to 1920x1200 resolution for a few years so really, tell me what's overkill and what isn't. Honestly, I think GTX 680 would be overkill for someone who'll stick to 1200p. I guess it comes down to both a GTX 670 and GTX 660Ti. I heard about the 660Ti losing an entire ROP due to the 192bit memory and the 144 Gb/s. But I don't know if the GTX 670 is worth the extra money.
Also add around 150$+ to their original price and that's what they're costing in my country. So really, tell me which card would be the best fit for me?
I'd say get GTX 670 if you can afford it. It much better buy than GTX 660 Ti and it will last you longer. No way it's overkill for your resolution . It will be able to max out most games of today, and most games of next few years.
If you cannot afford it, I'm sure you'll be happy with GTX 660 Ti as well.
The 670 is the way to go. The 660 ti would be more than fine for most games, but it's 192-bit interface really makes it suffer as soon as you ramp up AA and the like. The 670 will last a bit longer keeping games at max settings.
