So im planning to buy FX-8350 and sapphire HD 7870 xt and OCZ ZT 750W(because CF later and its modular). So i wanted to know if a good 650w psu will draw less W from the wall at idle and Load?

The amount of energy the PSU/system uses will depend on the PC system's load and the efficiency rating of the PSU. Example: an 80% efficient PSU will lose 20% of the electricity you are paying for in the form of heat and capacitive & inductive reactance.

Usually a big PSU is a bit less efficient because PSUs are least efficient in the low load range. The efficiency for even great quality units falls off rapidly at about 20% load and even sooner for cheaper units.

Well i was confused because of this www.youtube.com/watch?client=mv-google&gl=LV&hl=lv&v=iKk2_1u26tg&nomobile=1. When Linus upgraded the PSU at idle it draw 50W more and 70W more at Load
