Which cpu is more energy efficient?

So i got a few leftoverparts after an upgrade,and the spare part will become a kids web browsing machine.
I want to save some electricity which is more energy efficient?
I3 540 with motherboard in the gateway SX2850
I3 2120 with biostar h61mgv

The 2120 is lower max power, lower idle power and more performance.
