Finally ready to buy my new gaming pc!

Hey guys and gals, I'm looking to buy a new gaming PC and would like your advice on my choices. I'm getting the computer built at NCIX.ca, so all the parts need to be in stock there, but they do have a price match for other Canadian websites.

Approximate Purchase Date: Next couple days

Budget Range: ~$1000 - $1300 (flexible) (includes MS office)

System Usage: Gaming, web, light work (eg. MS office)

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: all

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website for Parts: ncix.ca

Location: Quesnel, B.C., Canada

Parts Preferences: Whatever is best, but aiming towards an i5 and HD 7970

Overclocking: maybe basic OCing

SLI or Crossfire: prefer single card

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200

Additional Comments: Doesn't need to be quiet, just not TOO loud. I'd prefer a cheaper/basic mobo, case and psu to keep costs down. I'll only do small OCing, so I don't need much extra cooling.

Why Are You Upgrading: Old PC is pretty much dead

I can't find the CPU Cooler clearance for the Zalman, but by the looks of it, even the gigantic Noctua should fit.

I would still suggest the 212 EVO over the A50 though.
