no it will not ? a FX 4100 won't bottleneck until after a GTX 670 or HD 7950 ? also i recommend ocing to use its full potential

It might, considering its gaming potential is about the equivalent of a pentium G620.

battlefield 3 is a TERRIBLE game to use to look for cpu bottlenecks.

That's like using this graph to show that the stock fx-4100 is as good as a stock i5-3570k....

Look at the OTHER games that's actually CPU intensive....

The FX series is completely *** for gaming. even the old ass Phenom II X 980 is better.

the most important question here is what resolution will you be gaming at ?

with a 560ti, he can at least do 1080p with medium/high settings...

and regardless of resolution, the fx-4100 will bottle most medium to high end gpus.

have a FX 4100 and tested it with a HD 7950 TF3 and it didn't bottleneck at 1080p ? only on resolutions lower like 720p in skyrim ?

What... the only thing lowering the resolution does is increase the frame rate... it just hides the bottleneck since it won't be felt (anything over 60 fps is limited by the monitor refresh rate)

it doesn't mean a bottleneck doesn't exist...
