For photoshop & illustrator which is better ?

gt 640 2gb ddr3 vs 7750 or 7770. 7770 is a little expensive near 60 $ more here where i am . so please tell me which is better ?

I've heard that AMD cards are better for compute performance, but im not sure about their performance in those programs.

What version of Photoshop and Illustrator are you using? Some versions can take advantage of Nvidia's CUDA support and will let you off-load some rendering to the GPU (off of the CPU). If that is the case with what you are using, the GT640 would be the better choice.

It really depends on the versions you are using.
