More about opinions price
  1. well it great if your not overclocking a ton and cross fireing graphics card at the same time, you should be fine
  2. Yeah it depends on what you are using it for, but if you do need 750W (mid-high SLI/Xfire setup) then it's a very good PSU.
As for value, Seasonic are rarely going to win the best price, but it's still a good deal.

Other slightly cheaper options that still offer 80Plus Gold and modular cables -
    Rosewill Capstone M 750 - $120
    XFX Black 750 - $130

There isn't really a bad choice in there.
  3. As he said, it just what your using it for. Are you overclocking or crossfireing
  4. Seasonic is an excellent brand, one of the best.

Hi - I'd say it is more than a decent PSU, it's excellent. Will
cf/sli & OC just about any 2 GPU's out there.
    Price is so-so.

Occasionally it goes on sale, if ur not in a hurry,
you can wait, or consider another top quality unit:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182084 quality platinum unit - nets to $105

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182273 quality platinum modular nets to $119

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817121088 quality modular platinum - nets to $130

Ex units in the price range of the excellent X-750
  6. No crossfire , just some overclocking.
Only going to run (1) 7870.............
  7. No XFX Black 750 like the one mentioned ABOVE in the thread all searches come up discontinued........

Yup that's the one I meant. And yeah it's made by Seasonic, most brands don't make their own stuff.

If you are only running a single HD7870 you only need 500W, any of the similar iterations of the previously mentioned PSUs in the ~550W area will be perfectly fine.
  10. :D Yes made by seasonic.
  11. Like rammy stated unless you are upgradeing in the future that is more than enough power.

  14. As I said this should be fine if your doing both, cf, and ocing at the same time. For only one it should run exelent be able to take what ever you over clock. Its is a really high quality psu
