On for more than a month

My friend has had his computer running for over a month now and its no gaming rig just a normal one idk what though, Well my question is is this really bad? like me i only have mine on for no more than 8 hours at a time

Well its not a good thing to run a machine for that long, it isn't particularly bad.
Heard that if a machine runs too long the temporary files starts to clog up, but havent seen evidence of it myself.

My computer runs 24/7 and only has 1 shutdown a month for patching and updating programs. So I think you're fine. As long as you shutdown once a while (like monthly or quarterly) you'll be fine since windows updates sometimes require a reboot. On months that a reboot isn't required I don't bother shutting down my computer.
