Radeon HD 7970 low Minecraft FPS catalyst 12.9

Hello, i am having a bit of an issue and if someone could help me out id be very happy -

I am having low minecraft FPS on a Radeon HD 7970 its around 30ish sometimes and ive seen people with that card have 300FPS
I have a AMD FX 6200 3.8GHz GPU and a 750W PSU, Asus m5a88v-evo motherboard, 8GB ram. when i had my Evga geforce GTX 550ti card it was like 120-150FPS which i was happy about, but now its lower and its not so good, you may ask me why do you need the name at 300FPS well i want to have a HD texture pack and more cool mods installed but i cant under these conditions

if someone could help me it would be much appreciated.
(PS: this is the only low game FPS i can easily play BF3 at 75-110FPS)

try freshly new install of drivers

uninstall CCC
then use Driver sweeper to remove the rest of the drives
then install the new drivers

Boot into safe mode and then use Driver Fusion (new version of Driver Sweeper). AMD's drivers can hide if not uninstalled in this way from safe mode.

i tried all there thing i even got a fresh windows with fresh drivers and still nothin and i am running java 7 64bit

yea i am using it. and that made the fps better but not amazing but on that subject is it me or is that one of the best driver release they had?

12.6 and up, for stability, are some of AMD's best work in drivers IMO.

same deal here abit disapointed and very funny I can run battlefield 3 on ultra and get 100 plus frames hahaha and minecraft and world of warcraft frames suck balls.

That might be more related to the MC and WoW servers than your own computers if properly updating to the latest drivers doesn't work and you don't have an other system bottle-neck such as a crappy CPU.
